Okay so far, I've been taking pictures of my film rolls (which I shot for my Concordia class) because I'm frigging excited to get an idea of what pictures I would print. As I saw my friend Danny print once back in the darkrooms of Concordia, Printing in film photography usually enhances the awesomeness of a film shot better than I would do with digital enhancements. Here are a few of my favorites.
Mind you, those are not the final results of the pictures. The prints are expected to rock to way higher level than these things haha.
The setup
So I took a picture of my negative using a Nikon D90 + 105VR macro lens in order to get the RAW flexibility to balance the colors back to normal. To light my negative up, I used a cls triggered sb-600 with a Gary Fong diffuser and a piece of white paper, on which I placed the film to be shot/scanned.
My fav shots so far

Very nice Yannick I think film renders moods and textures not captured by digital sensors which are honed to capture super sharp and render perfect color in an imperfect world. I think film allows us to capture reality and express it in many ways that digital is simply not dynamic enough to cover. Long live film.
